Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor, also as reciprocating mezzanine lifts. E type, C type, Z type is relatively common.
Genernally worker put the product on the platform by manual or fork or flat conveyor, then lift items via a vertical platform that can be powered actuated. There often only have one lift platforms, is a horizontal conveyor itself and can move up and down multiple levels to serve many floors. It can move up to 120 items per minute depending on the number of stops, height, and product weight.
This type of conveyor is more controllable than chute and other dropping conveyors and can manage fragile and complicated materials. Our reciprocating lifts are designed to elevate and lower boxes, containers, trays, packages, bags, barrels, kegs, pallets and other articles in multi-level applications.

Advanced safety features:
1. A limit switch controls travel of the carriage. When the switch is tripped, or power is lost, the motor shuts off and the mechanically actuated brake engages
2. Chain sensors shut down the lift if chain tension is lost
3. Set multiple emergency stop switches prevent carriage descent in the unlikely event of a chain failure
4. Chain tensioners and guides prevent chains from jumping on sprockets
